THURSDAY, JANUARY 15th, 2009

NETWORK ACTIVITIES

Hugo Teufel -- Chief Privacy Officer of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security during the disputes with the European Union over airline passenger-name records and SWIFT financial records -- will address the fourth annual Twin Cities Privacy Retreat.

Other confirmed speakers include Edward McNicholas, partner and co-leader of the privacy practice at Sidley Austin; Stuart Ingis, partner and co-leader of the privacy practice at Venable; Minnesota State Rep. Paul Kohls; University of Minnesota law professor William McGeveran; Janet Chapman, former CPO of Charles Schwab; Gail Magnuson, former CPO of Manpower; Jeff Nicol, privacy advisor to Cisco; and many others.

Join over 100 corporate privacy and security leaders and practitioners from the largest organizations in Minnesota to attend this all-day retreat. No vendor booths, no theory or platitudes, just nuts-and-bolts discussions with the people who make privacy happen in the land of lakes. Do you hold the CIPP designation? If so, you earn 6 CPE hours.

The 2009 retreat will be held once again at the Travelers Saint Paul Headquarters, and we will be keeping costs under $200 per participant. Follow the links below for more information.
